UNIT 2:
THE HUMAN BODY AND THE INTERACTION
Our nervous system and our five senses help us to move and interact with the world around us.
Our five senses cupture sensations and send them to the brain through
the nerves.
LET´S WATCH HOW THE FIVE SENSES WORK
Them the brain interprets that information and it sends
orders to other parts of the body through the nervous system.
A) THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
The nervous system controls our body and everything that we do (thinking, moving, talking, ...)
1.- It receives information through the senses organs.
2.- Then, the nervous system analyses and interprets the information.
3.- And finally, the nervous system responds by sending messages which cause the body react.
The nervous system is made up of:
A.- THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM
b.- and the peripheral nervous system.

It has two parts: the brain and the spinal cord.
